1) Create your account (registration)
Open the Alto.Ski app
2. Enter your name and email address; Accept the Terms & Conditions; Continue to the next step
2) Connect Hotel Anova (choose your hotel and you’re set)
After registration, the app will ask if you’re staying with a partner hotel.
Tap Select your hotel…
Once connected, you’ll see Hotel Anova on your Home area for quick access to guest information and updates.
Choose Hotel Anova from the list
or tap Use current location? (recommended if you’re already at the hotel)

3) Add your payment details (required to activate + buy tickets)
To activate Alto.Ski and purchase skipasses, you must add a payment card.
Go to Menu → Account / Payment (wording may vary)
Tap Add payment card
Enter your payment details and save
✅ This step is mandatory — without payment details, you won’t be able to activate your keycard or buy/reload products.
4) Activate your keycard (scan with NFC – or use QR if needed)
You can activate:
an existing compatible keycard
a Montgenèvre keycard
an Alto.Ski keycard
Option A (recommended): Activate with
Read NFC
Go to Passes / Skipass→ Scant existing keycard
Tap Read via NFC
Hold your keycard against the back of your phone (near the top) until it reads
Option B: If your phone doesn’t support
Read NFC
If your device can’t read NFC:
use Scan QR (if available in the keycard), or
enter the card number manually
Follow the on-screen instructions and confirm.

5) Purchase your skipass
From Home, open your ski resort
Tap Skipass / Tickets
Choose your ticket (day / multi-day / other products shown)
Confirm purchase — your ticket will be linked to your keycard
Resort page → Tickets list → Confirmation.
6) Add family members (manage everyone in one place)
Perfect for families or groups.
Go to Menu → Scan Existing Card to add your Family members
Tap : Scan Existing Card
Add their details
Add/ activate their keycard
Purchase tickets for each person as needed
Family list → Add member → Assign keycard.
7) Keep Hotel Anova and your resort at the top (favourites)
To make things quick during your stay:
Open Hotel Anova in the app and tap the heart (favourite) and add as current resort (tap mountain icon).
Do the same on your ski resort page
Your favourites will appear at the top of your Home area for easy access.

8) Extras & resort information (all in one place)
Depending on the resort, you can also access:
Ski hire
Ski insurance
Ski school
Resort information, including:
Weather forecast
Live lifts
Live pistes
Webcams
and more coming soon

9) Handy controls: remove or block a keycard, remove a user
Remove a keycard
Menu → Cards / Keycards → select card → Remove keycard → confirm
Block / freeze a keycard (if lost)
Menu → Cards / Keycards → select card → Block / Freeze → confirm
Then message us in Help Desk so we can help immediately.
Remove a family member
Menu → Family / Members → select person → Remove member → confirm

Mini troubleshooting
Can’t activate keycard? Make sure payment details are added first, then try Read NFC again.
NFC not working? Try moving the card slowly around the top/back of the phone, or use QR/manual entry.
Lost keycard? Block/freeze it in the app and contact Help Desk straight away.
