You can buy:

  • Day passes

  • Multi-day passes (6–13 consecutive days)

All tickets are available in the Montgenèvre resort page in the Alto.Ski app.

Before you start

You’ll need:

  • The Alto.Ski app (iOS or Android)

  • An Alto.Ski card or compatible RFID ski card (e.g. Montgenèvre / Skidata / Axess card)

  • A bank card to pay for your skipass

Make sure your ski card is added and shows ACTIVE in the app:

  1. Open Alto.Ski

  2. Go to Cards / Skipass

  3. Tap Add existing cardRead NFC / Read via NFC

  4. Hold the card to the back of your phone

  5. If the card shows ACTIVE, you can use it

If the card does not show as active or cannot be read, contact us via the in-app Helpdesk.

Step 1 – Open Montgenèvre in the app

  1. Open the Alto.Ski app and log in

  2. From the resort list, select Montgenèvre

  3. Make sure Montgenèvre is set as your current resort

Step 2 – Buy a

day pass

  1. On the Montgenèvre page, tap Buy skipass / Buy tickets

  2. Choose Day Pass

  3. Select your ski date

  4. Tick the skiers you are buying the ticket for

  5. Confirm your ski card (must show ACTIVE)

  6. Review dates and price, then proceed to checkout

  7. Pay securely in the app

Your day pass will be:

  • Loaded automatically onto your card

  • Visible on the Home page of the app

Tap the ticket on the Home page to see all details, including the reference number (useful if you lose the card).

Step 3 – Buy a

multi-day pass (6–13 days)

  1. On the Montgenèvre page, tap Buy skipass / Buy tickets

  2. Choose a multi-day pass (e.g. 6-day, 7-day, etc.)

  3. Select your start date and the number of days

  4. Tick the skiers you’re buying the pass for

  5. Select the card to load the ticket onto (status must be ACTIVE)

  6. Review dates, duration and total price

  7. Confirm and pay in the app

Your multi-day pass will then:

  • Be linked to the card for the entire period selected

  • Appear on the Home page of the app

Again, you can tap on the ticket on the Home page to see all details and the ticket reference.

Buying a different ticket for another skier

If you need a different ticket for another person (for example:

  • 6-day pass for one skier, and

  • a single day pass for a child),

you simply repeat the purchase:

  1. Go back to Buy skipass / Buy tickets

  2. Choose the appropriate ticket type

  3. Select the correct skier and card

  4. Complete checkout again

Each skier can have their own ticket type and own ski card.

On the day – going to the slopes

On your ski day:

  1. Open the app and check:

    • The card status is ACTIVE

    • The ticket is visible on the Home page

  2. Go straight to the lifts and present the card at the gate

You do not need to visit the ticket office if your card is active and has a valid ticket.

If the gates don’t open, please check:

  • You’re in Montgenèvre

  • The dates of your pass include that day

  • The card in the app is the same one you’re using

Still stuck? Contact us via the Helpdesk in the Alto.Ski app.

Changes, cancellations and refunds

Montgenèvre uses prepaid passes, so all changes and refunds follow the resort’s own terms and conditions:

  • Once a ticket has been used at a gate, it is usually not refundable

  • If you made a mistake (dates, names, etc.), contact us via the in-app Helpdesk as soon as possible and we’ll check what is possible with the resort

We can’t guarantee changes or refunds, but we’ll always do our best to help within Montgenèvre’s rules.
